We recently sold our parents home and everything went very smoothly with Via Realty's help. Wayne and Maggie gave us some pointers on what needed to be done to help sell the house and they were honest on the things where the return on our investment wouldn't make sense. When it came time to list the property, Wayne answered all our questions and reassures us every step of the way. Twenty-three years ago I asked my brother, Wayne, to help me find a house to buy. He found just the perfect house for me and assisted me through the process of becoming a homeowner. The house was a "red brick charmer" and when I got married, my husband and I stayed in that very same house until it was time for us to pursue our dream of moving to Oregon. First off we both appreciated how much time Wayne took with the paperwork explaining every line to us so that there would be no question of what we were signing and what our responsibilities were. Wayne also gave us a lot of hints so our home would show in the best possible light. Don and I left town and put the rest of the process in Wayne's hands. There is no way I can express our gratitude for all of Wayne's hard work.
Beautiful pictures were taken to show our home in the best possible light. Copy was written to lovingly describe the special features of the home. Appointments were made with the several repair people. Sometimes they didn't show up and Wayne rescheduled and went back to the house to wait for them again. Wayne dealt with a sister who at times was a frazzled mess with kindness and professionalism. The house was priced right and the sale went through quickly. We did not know how much work is involved in selling a house and Wayne did a yeoman's job. If we could recommend Wayne to everyone who is looking to buy or sell a house we would do so!
From a brother-in-law's point of view, working with Wayne was like working with a Grade A teacher. He taught us what to do, how to do it and was a guide through the process. We were both so pleased and had no idea the time and effort that goes into selling a house. At times it seemed overwhelming, but Wayne made it very manageable.

Experiences in Real Estate with Wayne Anderson
& Via Realty
This letter will outline the recent sale of my parent’s home in Tucson and the experience we had with Wayne Anderson and his team at Via Realty.
I should mention I’ve known Wayne since 1965. Although our paths have crossed many times over the years it wasn’t until August 2007 when I approached Wayne about listing my parent’s home in the Catalina Foothills. They had lived in this home since 1966 and felt it was time to move to more manageable apartment.
Although my parents have known Wayne for years, he had to present himself (they are from the ‘old school’ and appreciated his tie and jacket and unfailing courtesy!) to outline how he would market their home in a challenging real estate market. He successfully presented his strategy, gained their support and then went into action. The listing was signed the same day.
My parent’s home represents a unique and classical example of Tucson Territorial design from 1955. It possesses one of the best views in the foothills (a full 180 degrees of the city) as well as desirable lot size, pool and great outdoor living spaces. Wayne wasted no time in fully documenting the home, including photographs and then placed the information on his firm’s web site just as the MLS listing (Multiple Listing Service) was released.
About five days after the listing Wayne called to advise he had an offer. He brought the offer to my parents and explained the fine details including conditions and closing options. It didn’t take long for my parents to agree to the offer and start planning their move.
At every instance Wayne was attentive, professional and acted as an advocate for my parents. Not all transactions will go this smoothly, but I credit Wayne’s excellent knowledge of the Tucson market, the Catalina foothills in particular, which insured they received the best offer possible.
I live in Canada and was traveling in China during the latter parts of the sale of my parent’s home so I couldn’t be there. I trusted Wayne to ensure things went according to plan and I couldn’t be more satisfied.

After living in my little townhouse for 26 years, I decided it was time for a change. When I found the place I was looking for, my sister suggested I get in touch with Wayne D. Anderson of Via Realty, because he did such a great job for her previously. Eduardo accompanied me to the closing, and everything went very smoothly. These three gentlemen were always available for advice and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I'm an RN; I work 12 hour shifts and it was very comforting to know that I had such competent, able people working on my behalf.
